W&R SETA Accreditation
With great excitement, LearnMe can announce its official new accreditation with the W&R SETA. This increases their accreditation offering even further and opens up even more opportunities for them at LearnMe to expand and offer training in more diverse sectors.
The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&R SETA) was established in 2000 in terms of the Skills Development Act. The public entity aims to facilitate the skills development needs of the Wholesale and Retail (W&R) Sector through the implementation of learning programs, disbursement of grants, and monitoring of education and training as outlined in the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP).
On June 3rd, 2022 LearnMe received its accreditation with the W&R SETA.
On June 10th, LearnMe was invited by the W&R Seta Cape Town office to present on the company, brand, and services, in alignment with the SETA’s inhouse conference on Disability and People With Disabilities as well as training in rural areas.
LearnMe’s CEO, Janice Ramlutchman, together with their Sales Business Partner, Bruce Crowie attended the conference and LearnMe was introduced as “A Service Provider With a Difference”. The presentation of their Mobile Training Units blew the crowd away and forwarded LearnMe the opportunity to indirectly speak to all stakeholders in the retail sector.
The outcome of the conference was phenomenal. LearnMe was able to connect with the heads of W&R SETA and the presentation was greatly received by all in attendance.
The W&R SETA qualification that LearnMe now offer is:
National Certificate in Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF Level 2).
The SETAs provide information on quality education and training offered by employers within their sectors. They can help you to find funding options and avenues to gain new skills while you are working.
SETAs focus on providing skills development and training to people employed or seeking employment in their sectors. They are tasked with developing skills development plans in response to the skills needs in their sectors. They then ensure that training in their sectors is of appropriate quality and at the skills levels needed.
If the W&R SETA Accreditation is of interest to you, then make sure to use LearnMe as your preferred accreditation facilitator.
